(Paraffin & Asphalt Remediation)

Total System Treatment Method

The TSTM™ patented process developed by MEOR, is a three-step treatment designed specifically to treat heavily paraffinated or asphaltened wells or wells with high viscosity in colder climates. Deposition can be safely and effectively treated by reliquification of the deposits into the oil stream.

Typically three or four products are applied down hole in a certain order to ensure the reliquification process occurs quickly and efficiently.

  • Paraffin Eliminator - For initial deposit reliquification
  • Salt Extractor - Used in high saline conditions
  • Scale Extractor - Used in high scaling conditions
  • Micro Brew - Twenty-one strains of bacteria specifically formulated to break down paraffin or asphaltene deposits in the formation

How it works:

The patented tri-chem application utilizes the chemistries of both a chemical and bacteria approach to maximize the effectiveness of both types of applications.

The Paraffin Eliminator is the product that provides the initial liquification of the deposit followed by the Salt Extractor, which is used to break down any salt binding the deposit allowing for a more effective use of the Paraffin Eliminator. The Microbrew is then applied down hole (approximately 300 gallons) to cap the first two products and to help ensure increased production periods between down-hole applications.
