SULF-B-GONE SERIES™
(Hydrogen Sulfide Reducer)
The Problem:
The presence of H2S in reservoir fluids is a major problem for the petroleum industry and is associated with reservoir souring, iron sulfide deposition, poor sweep efficiency, and increased corrosion.
The Solution:
ENTECH has developed the following four different types of H2S reduction products that will substantially reduce the high levels of hydrogen sulfide:
SULF-B-GONE™ is a liquid alkanolamine in combination with an FDA-approved corrosion inhibitor.
SULF-B-GONE II™ is a liquid anthroquinone in combination with an FDA-approved corrosion inhibitor.
SULF-B-GONE III™ is an aqueous solution with a high level of stable C1O2, creating a safe effective alternative to present biocidal techniques and applications. This product has a shelf life of two years, over 100% longer than any other manufacture of “stabilized aqueous” chlorine dioxide. Excellent for use near ground water applications.
SULF-B-GONE IV™ is a microbial product designed to attack the same food source that supports the sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB), which creates H2S (sour gas). The reduction in available food and the aggressiveness of the Sulf-B-Gone IV results in an overall SRB reduction.
Benefits:
- Scavenges regardless of the amount of carbon dioxide, temperature and pressure
- Reacts almost instantaneously with hydrogen sulfide to form safe, stable and water soluble products
- Ideal for continuous operations, where solids produced by other types of H2S scavengers can cause expensive downtime
- An excellent water-soluble corrosion inhibitor
- Environmentally Friendly
- No Groundwater Pollution
- Very Cost Effective
